The West African Examination Council, WAEC, Kaduna office, has been ravaged by fire. The fire outbreak, which erupted around 10am, Tuesday morning, allegedly affected 10 offices in the control department and destroyed sets of computer and other vital documents.
Speaking to journalists on the incident, the deputy zonal coordinator in-charge of the office, Mr. Fidelis Gayan, who was around when the incident occurred, said no human casualty was recorded during the inferno.
Gayan said even though the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, no any examination papers was affected. Fire fighters were successful in putting off the fire after the information got to them.
