15,000 patients benefit free medical services in Bauchi State

Not less than fifteen thousand (15,000) patients living with various ailments are to benefit from free medical services organised for the less-privileged in Bauchi state.

Also to benefit are con-join twins, who are to undergo free surgical service, under the free medical outreach.

This was disclosed to newsmen in Bauchi, on Monday, by the team leader, Dr. Joseph Haruna Kibu, while flagging off the free medical program at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi.

He said, the free medical service informs the speaker’s decision to consolidate on saving life as part of fulfilling his campaign promise.

He noted that, the program will last for four weeks in Bauchi metropolis: Azare, Dass, Tafawa Balewa and, finally, Bogoro, which is the speaker’s home town.

He explained further that about 10 surgical Doctors are expected to treat people from various diseases as well undertake as minor and major operations.

It could be recalled that, this program has once been conducted by the speaker in the previous years across state, which is aimed at complimenting government’s efforts in health programs.

Dr Kibu urged the beneficiaries to judiciously avail themselves with this year’s opportunity and attend the program.
